Tea & Cookies with Dr. Sanyu Mojola
Interested in sociology or public health? Join us for an ask-me-anything conversation with Dr. Sanyu Mojola, Professor of Sociology, Public Affairs and Demographic Studies at Princeton University. Her mixed methods research examines how societies produce health and illness, with a particular focus on the HIV/AIDS pandemic as it unfolds in various settings such as Kenya, South Africa, and the U.S. She’s published two books: Love, Money and HIV (2014)
and Death by Design (2025), with the former winning multiple awards including the 2016 Distinguished Scholarly Book Award from the American Sociological Association.
