Reconsidering Reparations: A Conversation with Prof. Olúfẹmi O. Táíwò

Mon, April 18, 2022 • 3:30pm - 5:00pm (1h 30m)

Join Prof. Daniel Groll for a discussion with Olufemi O. Taiwo of Georgetown University on Prof. Taiwo's recently published book Reconsidering Reparations (Oxford University Press).

In Reconsidering Reparations, Prof. Taiwo argues that the question of reparations and climate change are linked and offers a case for reparations that is "rooted in a hopeful future that tackles the issue of climate change head on, with distributive justice at its core."

(ENTS and PHIL joint seminar; BIOL students can receive credit for attending)
