Seminar at Northfield Public Library: Bison Reintroduction in Minnesota

As part of the Spring Lake Park Master Plan, Dakota County reintroduced the American plains bison to the prairie in the fall of 2022. Come hear Dakota County's Natural Resource Manager, Dr. Tom Lewanski, talk about the Bison Reintroduction project at the Spring Lake Park Reserve.
Dr. Lewanski's holds degrees in biology and public administration, and has been in the land conservation/natural resource field for over 25 years. During this time, he has overseen numerous land protection and habitat restoration projects in the Twin Cities metro region.
