The Natural Resources Technician be responsible for performing tasks associated with the maintenance of state parks natural resources across North Dakota. The focus of the work will be noxious weed control but other tasks may also include:
- Invasive species control
- Tree and shrub planting and maintenance
- Prairie restoration seeding
- Trail maintenance
This position begins with on-the-job training designed to sharpen technical abilities and enhance professional skills.
- ND Commercial/Public Pesticide Applicator Training and Certification
- Operation and maintenance of ATV/OHV units
- NWCG Wildland Fire Training and Certification
- Noxious Weed Sprayer School
- ESRI ArcGIS Online, Field Maps and Quick Capture
- ATV Safety Training
