Graduate and Summer Programs at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory

17 October 2019

Students in the program are expected to graduate in four to five years. To this end, they receive extensive mentoring throughout, with an academic as well as a research mentor, and they complete their course work, rotations, and qualifying exam within the first year.

All students are fully funded by the School — stipends, tuition, and research costs — giving them the freedom to join any lab, irrespective of whether that lab has other funding for them. In addition, students receive subsidized housing and food, and full health benefits.

For more information about the CSHL graduate program, the application process, our faculty and their research, please visit the website at www.cshl.edu/gradschool. The deadline for completed applications is December 1. All applications and supporting documents must be submitted online. There is no application fee.

Additionally, CSHL has a summer Undergraduate Research Program. The deadline for this program is January 15.
