Cereal Disease Resistance and Germplasm Enhancement Project (CDRGEP). Researcher 2 Position at the U of MN.

27 March 2023

The CDRGEP is funded by the National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA)/National Science Foundation (NSF) and seeks to understand the molecular mechanisms of virulence/avirulence in cereal rust fungi (Puccinia species) through genomics and effector biology research and identifying and characterizing disease resistance genes in both cultivated and wild cereal species. This is an international research project that includes partners from the National Institute of Agricultural Botany in the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization in Australia.
