19 April 2024This is an entry-level position for a laboratory researcher to join the Weingarden lab at the University of Minnesota. The individual in this position will assist with specific procedures, such as tissue processing and staining for flow cytometry, in vitro mammalian cell culture, and aerobic and anaerobic bacterial culture. They will also help with animal experiments (mice) and manage the mouse colony, along with recruitment of patients for clinical studies.

If you are about to graduate and want to get some research experience before applying to grad or med school the Hemmers Lab at Duke University is looking for highly motivated individuals that can commit to at least two years of research contribution. You will learn how to work with mice, isolate cells from various tissues, perform cellular analysis by flow cytometry, and immunofluorescent imaging. You also have the opportunity to audit graduate student level immunology classes and try your hand in some computational data analysis.
