What is your plan for winter break?

Kolenkow-Reitz Fellowship: Students can apply for research support to work with non-Carleton science and math faculty at another institution during the winter break. These research opportunities are intended to encourage Carleton students’ development as scientists and their exploration of mathematics and the sciences as a possible career. Awards are for $480 per week of full time work, for up to 3 weeks (winter break). Additional expenses up to $150 for winter break can be requested to help defray travel or research supply expenses.Winter break applications can be found here and are being accepted through October 23rd.

Towsley Research Endowment: Carleton faculty can apply for stipends to support Carleton students working with them during Winter break. Awards up to $1,440 ($480/week for full time work) for 3 weeks during winter break.  Money for supplies is also available, typically up to $150 per student. Faculty research advisors can access the application here, and it should be completed by October 23rd.
