Congratulations on retiring. I loved our chat last summer. There you were in your summer house miles and miles from civilization, savoring the peace and tranquility of a north woods retreat despite contending with the huge problems that the pandemic has brought to Carleton. While I was still at Carleton, I admired your calm, even-handed, diplomatic managerial style. You always treated everyone so respectfully and humanely, even when (or especially when) you needed to make tough decisions.
Enjoy your new freedom from all these responsibilities.
