11 January 2024

The Perlman Teaching Museum celebrates the opening of its Winter Term show, TOWARDS A WARM EMBRACE, with an artist talk and reception Thursday, January 11. The talk by artists Ezra Benus and Finnegan Shannon will begin at 5:00 p.m. in the Weitz Cinema, followed by the reception in the Weitz Commons at 6:00 p.m. On Thursdays the Museum is open until 8:00 p.m. to view the show.

TOWARDS A WARM EMBRACE is a two-person exhibition featuring the work of New York City-based artists Finnegan Shannon and Ezra Benus. Working together for the first time, their exhibition will focus on disability and accessibility practices with the underlying premise that access is something everyone has a responsibility towards.
