We are excited to be able to welcome the Theatre of Public Policy back to Carleton’s campus, for a conversation and performance around Sex Education (Let’s Talk and Improv About Sex). The Theatre of Public Policy is a Twin-Cities based Improv group that uses humor and improv to tackle controversial debates in Public Policy- criminal justice, gun violence, reproductive justice etc. This performance will start as a conversation with a panel of people with connections to the topic- Matt Hillmann: the Superintendent of Northfield Public Schools, Dylan Karsten: Manager of Clinical Programs at Planned Parenthood, and Erica Staab: Executive Director of the Rice County-based HOPE Center. The group will then move into an improv show building off of this conversation. This performance will take place in Kracum Hall in the Weitz, May 13 from 8-10PM. This event is sponsored by the Humanities Center and Public Works Grant.
