Fall Choir Concert Reflects History of Carleton Music

6 November 2014

Under the direction of Lawrence Burnett, Carleton’s three choral groups will be performing a wide variety of selections that reflect the history of music at Carleton. Men’s Chorus, Bella Cantemus, and Carleton Singers will all debut their own styles and then come together to form the full Carleton Choir, which will present Pachelbel’s “Deus in Adjutorium” along with other pieces. The concert will be Saturday, November 8, 8-9:30 in the Concert Hall.

The pieces selected for this concert have been previously performed at Carleton College throughout the choir’s long history on campus, making this concert a special presentation for today’s audience members. The concert will offer a glimpse into musical trends over time and is sure to be a beautiful conclusion to the term.
