Classes support Merchant of Venice production
28 February 2017Since January, Carleton’s The Merchant of Venice: A Project Course class has been exploring the world of Shakespeare’s The Merchant of Venice. The class supplements the Carleton Players production of The Merchant of Venice and is led by the play’s director, English Professor Pierre Hecker. Each student contributes to the design and completion of several projects related to the play.

10 November 2016Carleton’s Experimental Theater Board (ETB) will present Circle Mirror Transformation by Annie Baker (2009), directed by Alexa Blasnek ’19 and Ceci Hart ’19 this Thurday (Nov. 10th) and Friday (Nov. 11th) from 7:30pm to 9:45pm at the Little Nourse Theatre.

6 October 2016Minneapolis-based Theatre Forever presents Carlo Goldoni’s comic masterpiece THE VENETIAN TWINS on Saturday, October 8th at 7:30 p.m. Produced in classic commedia dell’arte style – including custom masks made specifically for this production – the show will take place in the Weitz Center Commons.
