This weekend, Northfield audiences will experience a series of interlaced performances of theater, dance, visual installations, and digital media taking place at several locations. Northfield Experience: Stephan Koplowitz
24 April 2018The producer of The Northfield Experience is Stephan Koplowitz. VOLUNTEER SINGERS NEEDED
15 September 2015This Fall Carleton is bringing a terrific traveling theatre production to campus called NATURE: A WALKING PLAY. Based on the lives and work of Emerson and Thoreau, the play will be performed outdoors in the Arb on October 3 and 4.
We are recruiting a volunteer chorus to be a part of the performances. The chorus sings throughout the performance and also helps guide the audience from one location to the next. A great opportunity to be outdoors, to perform alongside professional theatre artists, and to be a part of a truly remarkable theatrical experience. Singers of all ages and all abilities are welcome!
Performances are October 3 and 4, with a few rehearsals in advance of those dates. For more information and to volunteer to be a part of this, please email Steve Richardson.

Carltography: The Exhibition
17 February 2015What began as a simple collaborative map-making project has grown into an impressive work of art, beautifully capturing the diverse experiences found in the common place that is Carleton College. Carltography was created by Carleton Students Peter Barron ’17, Vayu Maini Rekdal ’15, and Jackson Van Fleet ’15. Students, alumni, faculty, staff, and other members of the Northfield community have all contributed to Carltography by submitting hand-drawn maps of the campus and their own comments. While some people document the locations of their personal experiences on these maps, others have created entirely new, imaginative worlds on the campus maps. …
