The Northfield Experience
30 April 2018The Northfield Experience is finally upon us! This weekend, Northfield audiences will experience a series of interlaced performances of theater, dance, visual installations, and digital media taking place at several locations. Koplowitz is collaborating with St. Olaf and Carleton Colleges and the greater Northfield community where the spirit of history, industry, and scholarship thrive and will engage students, alumni, and professors from both colleges, in addition to members of specific Northfield institutions and businesses. This is a progressive venue production. Most locations are within walking distance, but an ADA bus is available upon request. This will be a fantastic event and not one to be missed! The production begins at The Grand Event Center, 316 Washington Street, Northfield, MN. Tickets are required for this event and are available for purchase through the Northfield Arts Guild. Northfield Experience: Stephan Koplowitz
24 April 2018The producer of The Northfield Experience is Stephan Koplowitz. Since 1984, he has found inspiration for his work from a variety of sources stemming from his interests in music, photography, film, theater and dance combined with his interest in mapping the human experience through all of these arts. As the progeny of an American spy, he had the opportunity to grow up in France, Brazil and see several parts of the world at a young age, which greatly informed his perspective on life and culture.
