Classes support Merchant of Venice production
28 February 2017Since January, Carleton’s The Merchant of Venice: A Project Course class has been exploring the world of Shakespeare’s The Merchant of Venice. The class supplements the Carleton Players production of The Merchant of Venice and is led by the play’s director, English Professor Pierre Hecker. Each student contributes to the design and completion of several projects related to the play.

This Friday Jan 20th 8:00pm to 9:30pm., celebrated pianist Jonathan Biss joins The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra at the Chapel for the second installment in the Beethoven/5 project, a major commissioning project pairing five newly composed piano concertos alongside the Beethoven concertos that inspired them.
