Hale County: This Morning, This Evening, directed by RaMell Ross, a 2018 American documentary, is an inspired and intimate portrait of a place and its people. This film looks at the lives of Daniel Collins and Quincy Bryant, two young African American men from rural Hale County, Alabama, over the course of five years.
RaMell Ross is a visual artist, filmmaker, writer, and liberated documentarian. His work has appeared in Aperture; Hammer Museum; Institute of Contemporary Arts, London; Museum of Modern Art; National Gallery of Art; and Walker Art Center.
