Artist Visit: Megan Vossler

The Department of Art & Art History proudly presents a sponsored Christopher U. Light Lectureship

Megan Vossler is currently an Associate Professor of Art at Macalester, and her work as an artist has been recognized by some of the nation’s most prestigious arts organizations. She has received artist fellowships from the McKnight and Jerome Foundations, and was a recent recipient of a competitive residency at Yaddo, the historic artists colony in Saratoga Springs, New York. Her ongoing collaborative drawing and storytelling project, Ekphrastic, was supported in part by an Art Works Grant from the National Endowment for the Arts. Vossler has also received multiple grants from the Minnesota State Arts Board and the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.
