The Wandering House: exploring, mending, reimagining our relationship to home

The Wandering House is a multi-platform art project developed by Chilean/American artist, filmmaker, and faculty member in Cinema and Media Studies, Cecilia Cornejo Sotelo. Using a retrofitted ice-fishing house as an audio-recording studio, the project explores the meaning of home from the perspective of three river towns in southeastern Minnesota: Northfield, Lanesboro, and Red Wing. The project got its start in Northfield and Lanesboro in 2019 and is going to Red Wing in October of 2022. To learn more about and to contribute to the project, please visit The Wandering House.
