Nostalgia is something I find myself drawn to in this transitional stage of life. When I look back at photos, I realize I have been clinging fondly to memories of memories. I took this opportunity to reflect on childhood, mine as well as my parents’. I focused on captured moments from our lives intermingled with the complexity of family reduced to a snapshot. Much of my childhood was spent moving, yet somehow in all the places I moved, ants followed. Drawn en masse to the warm and sweet places that I too now seek; time having rid me of their itch and discomfort.
