The notion of parenting has always been interesting to me. How can you expect imperfect people to raise an imperfect person with better character values than they possess?

As I develop through young adulthood, I am enamored with my parents and their lives before parenthood. What formative experiences shaped their characters, and how did that manifest in the raising of my sisters and me?

These experiences, cultivated from motion and stillness and immersed in intimacy and love, are explored, studied, and celebrated through this series of artworks.
