Mattison Shreero
Geology and Studio Art Double Major
To those who have found themselves here,
Welcome to The Museum of Cosmic Warning, dear visitors. I want to personally invite you into the collection, in hopes that you explore it wholeheartedly and rediscover your sense of wonder about the universe (as this is, of course, the goal of all my collections). That being said, take care as you wander through—the collection is also intended to imply something about the future by revealing something of the past.
This collection in particular contains relics of The Civilization, a remarkably well-preserved society of the Late Septarian Era that has recently been excavated by our devoted team of aquastroarcheologists. No such example of 17th century life existed prior to the discovery of this vast place. It is our hope that by studying these people’s way of life, the progression of their society, and their eventual downfall, that we can gain insight about how to treat our own planet.
Last but not least, I would like to extend many thanks to our sponsors, the Northman-Bruns Planetary Paleontological Society and the notorious Hangman’s Fund, without whom none of this would have been possible.
Now let your time with us commence—enjoy the exhibit and peruse the collections.
Forever looking back, thinking forward,
