Chickens can only recognize 30 other chickens at once. Do chickens forget chickens? What makes a chicken distinctive enough to tell it apart from another chicken? My comps deals with my grandfather’s worsening alzheimer’s. Because of my grandfather’s disease, he doesn’t remember me but he remembers other people instead, including his nursing home sweetheart Dolores. I want the humor in this and the inherent silliness of chickens to be the focus of my comps.
