I am driven by a curiosity in the natural world, the power of close observation, and the transformation of raw materials. The constant motion of the landscape feeds my desire to create, and inspires the organic shapes in the utilitarian ceramics I throw on the potter’s wheel. I appreciate how handmade pots can bring a greater awareness to and appreciation of one’s daily routines surrounding food and drink.
