My work is oriented around the theme of process, and has become an exploration of making, movement and continual discovery. I have always been fundamentally intrigued by construction, by physically interacting with my materials and by the creativity that can emerge from routine.
My pieces use organic forms, repetition, and movement to investigate both the form of my material and the form of my own mark. My works throughout the show play off each other and, sometimes quite literally, have been used to construct the next.
I ask the viewer to contemplate on the iterations of the patterns they see, and how these forms can subtly morph with interaction and time.
