Art has always been my outlet, a way in which I can process the colors and events of the world. My work in An Other Thing was inspired by my summer job working at a small consumer products company in Ghana. I chose oil painting as a medium to reflect on the summer while dealing with issues of sustainability, technology, friendship, and race. This creative process has been both a pleasure and a challenge, and I am grateful for the hard work and insights of my peers and professors along the way.
