This body of ceramic work is a representation of four individual’s body hair. It is also a commentary on the grooming of body hair to fulfill societal expectations of female beauty. The hair itself is cut from the heads of the respective individuals and replaced in some cases throughout their bodies in places that are relevant to their stories.

My second piece is a series of old people in their youth. And the third piece is a head study with an altered interior that is lit up and only visible by getting close enough to look through the eye.
