My artistic work has always been influenced by nature. I have always been drawn to the natural world as a subject, using it as a canvas for experimentation and investigation. In addition, I have been drawn to photography because it allows us to capture moments in our lives, but it also allows us to manipulate, create, and imagine.
This project followed this experimental path, focusing on different lighting conditions and angles to create different atmospheres in the photographs. The subject, the trees, stayed constant in this project so that the focus was on the effects that the experimentation produced. The trees are shown towering over the rest of the frame to emphasize their beauty and importance in our lives.
