William R. Kenan, Jr. Professor of Art History, and Editor-in-Chief of the refereed Journal of Historians of Netherlandish Art, announces the Winter 2014 issue. The articles focus on Hugo van der Goes’s Nativity in Berlin in the context of the Devotio Moderna (by Jessica Buskirk ’98) along with a codicological study of a Franco-Flemish book of hours, a technical study of Gerrit Dou’s paintings, and a translation of an article on civic guard portraits from the 1880s.
