Tim Lloyd, Class of 1941 Professor of Art and the Liberal Arts, Emeritus, is currently exhibiting work, In The Vanguard: Metalwork At Haystack Mountain School of Crafts, 1950-1969, at The Portland Museum of Art in Portland, Maine. A photograph of a silver casserole from 1965 is featured in the exhibition catalogue and in a review in the current issue of Metalsmith magazine.
Also, Tim’s new work of 20 silver teapots and metal vessels is in an exhibit at Raymond Avenue Gallery in St. Paul. The exhibit, The Mighty Elements: CLAY PAPER METAL — featuring artists Tim Lloyd, metalsmith; Jody Williams ’78, printmaker; and Bill Grossman, potter — runs May 31 through July 19.
