Ross Elfline presents paper at CAA

Associate Professor of Art History, presented a paper titled “Street Works: Urban Performance Countering the Neoliberal City” at the College Art Association’s annual meeting in Chicago on February 14. Presented for a panel devoted to the politics of public art, Ross’s essay considered a range of public performance works in New York in 1969 that sought to challenge the increasingly privatized and corporatized urban environment of New York at that juncture.
