National Gallery docents hear talk by Lauren Soth
8 November 2007Lauren Soth, Professor of Art History Emeritus, gave a lecture in November on the Edward Hopper exhibition to the docents of the National Gallery in Washington. He was also invited to a celebration held at the Morgan Library in New York to mark the publication of the first volume in the series Van Gogh Studies, published by the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam. -
Linda has work in 2007 Swan Song season

Lauren’s review published in Apollo(London)
11 October 2007Professor of Art History, Emeritus, published a review in Apollo (London) of the exhibition “Biedermeier: The Invention of Simplicity.” The exhibition opens at the Louvre this month after previous stops in Vienna, Berlin, and Milwaukee.

Tim Lloyd’s work at Grand Hand Gallery
2 October 2007Class of 1941 Professor of Liberal Arts, Emeritus Tim Lloyd’s work was part of the “focus on detail” exhibition at the Grand Hand Gallery in St. Paul in fall 07. Jean Matzke’s fiber work was also part of the show.
