13 September 2013“play” by Studio Art professor Stephen Mohring will open at the Soeffker Gallery, Hamline University on September 27. A public lecture will be in the Anne Simley Theater from 5:00-6:00 with a reception following from 6:00-8:00pm in the gallery. The exhibition runs through November 21, 2013.

MIA presentation by Alison Kettering
3 February 2012March 8 at 6 pm at Minneapolis Institute for the Arts, Alison Kettering will present “CrossTalk: Playing with Our Food,” a conversation about food styling historically in still lifes and today in commercial photography. Cindy Lund, manager of food styling, General Mills will participate as well.

Fred Hagstrom
14 November 2011Fred spent a week at Hang Zhou Normal University School of Fine Arts in China in October. While he was there he presented several lectures, had his work displayed in a show and presented a binding demonstration.
