Kenan Professor of Art History and Editor-in-Chief of the peer-reviewed, open access e-journal, Journal of Historians of Netherlandish Art (JHNA), is pleased to announce the publication of the Summer 2011 issue. It includes articles on emblem books, on the applicability of Actor-Network-Theory to Rembrandt’s gifts, on Dutch collecting of exotic objects, and on tensions leading to the foundation of the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam.
