Shoreline: A Drawing Club Exhibit

Thu, May 18, 2023 • 5:00pm - 6:00pm (1h) • Mai Fete Island

Shoreline is an exhibit that documents the shoreline of Mai Fete Island and Lyman Lakes through landscape drawings. Each drawing will have a horizontal line in it that connects to how the land and water meet. Shoreline will have an opening reception called the Mai Fete Fete on Thursday, May 18th from 5-6 pm. The Peripatetic Gallery will be wheeled out onto Mai Fete Island for the occasion.
Participating artists are from the Drawing Club, founded in 2017 by Professor Eleanor Jensen. The club meets weekly; and it’s designed to offer structure and community to drawing, to promote its practice and support its members. Contact ejensen@carleton with interest or questions.
