Anne Rynearson is a Minnesota-based artist and educator who focuses primarily on painting and printmaking. Her work in this exhibition explores the expression of "femaleness" through abstract storytelling, using layers, stencils, and techniques like airbrushing and glazing to create dynamic, unpredictable compositions. Through this work she emphasizes the emotional and vibrational presence of color and scale, aiming for her art to engage viewers both visually and physically.
Anne will also be giving a talk on February 20.
