Katie Ryor co-led Workshop at National Museum of Asian Art

Katie Ryor, Tanaka memorial professor of international understanding and art history, co-led a workshop on Color in Ming Dynasty Art at the National Museum of Asian Art. The event marked the five-year convening of the Chinese Object Study Workshop, a program for graduate students funded by the Mellon Foundation. Assistant professor of art history at Williams College Ziliang Liu ’12 was one of the program alums who presented a paper. His paper was entitled, “Bottoms Up: The Freer Jade Spouted Cup Reconsidered.”
