Associate Professor of Art History, recently published an article through the Walker Art Center’s
Living Collections Catalog. The essay, titled “
Common Ground: Haus-Rucker-Co’s Food City I and Collaborative Design Practice,” focuses on a 1971 performance at the Walker for which the Viennese architecture group Haus-Rucker-Co fabricated a scale-model of the city of Minneapolis out of cake, tea sandwiches, and lemonade and invited residents of Minneapolis to devour their city.
