Cannon River Clean Up

Sat, September 18, 2021 • 9:00am - 12:00pm (3h) • Lower Arboretum entrance near the West Gym

The 13th Annual Cannon River Watershed-Wide CleanUP takes place on Saturday, Sept. 18th, 9:00 am-12:00 pm.

This is the largest one-day CleanUP event in Minnesota with over 200 volunteers working in 8 locations across the watershed from Owatonna in the south, Shields Lake in the north and Red Wing in the East. All in an effort to “Make Clean Water Happen” in Southeastern Minnesota.

Join us at the Carleton Arboretum to clean up the banks of the Cannon River and Spring Creek and the shores of Lyman Lakes. We supply the gloves and trash bags, you supply the labor and enthusiasm! This event is hosted in cooperation with the Clean Water Partners, working to improve water quality throughout the Cannon River Watershed. Please register at their website to complete the liability form for this event.
