Miles Harris ’08 (he/him/his) recently became the first Director of Gender-Affirming Care at UC Davis Health. He earned his B.A. from Carleton College, majoring in studio art and biology. At Carleton, he also worked as a student associate at the Gender and Sexuality Center, where he developed a passion for sexual and reproductive health education. After Carleton, he received his BSN from the University of Pennsylvania and his MS from New York University. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, he has dedicated his career to improving and expanding gender-affirming medical care for transgender and gender-nonbinary communities. Join us as Miles shares his path from the Gender and Sexuality Center to UC Davis, his experiences as a leader in transgender health, and tips on getting needed sexual and reproductive healthcare.
