Update on Out After Carleton Family Reunion

Dear Out After Carleton Community,

Greetings from (still) snowy Northfield!

We write today to update you on recent developments regarding the 7th Out After Carleton Family Reunion. Based on results from the recent OAC Family Reunion survey, and after careful consideration by the OAC Family Reunion Planning Committee, we have decided to postpone the Fall 2023 Family Reunion. 

For those planning on returning to campus this fall, we know this is a disappointing development. We don’t have a date set yet, but the Out After Carleton Board and members of the Planning Committee are committed to planning a future Family Reunion that celebrates and reconnects the LGBTQIA+ Carleton community. 

Over the next few years, we will focus our energy and efforts on regional programming, strengthening Out After Carleton’s connection with current students and young alumni, and increasing our visibility on campus and off. 

We are excited to continue to bring opportunities to connect and build community! If you are back on campus for the June Reunion, don’t forget the Out After Carleton Reunion 2023 Reception. In addition, look for information soon about our virtual Pride month (June) Breakfast Club speaker and other future events.
