Classmates Richard Allen Greene ’91 and Martin Kaste ’91 bring decades of national and international newsroom experience to a wide-ranging conversation on the role of journalism in our hectic world.

About the speakers

Richard Allen Greene ’91 is CNN's first Director of Content, focusing on multi-platform explanatory journalism. Previously, he ran CNN’s London newsdesk and explained numbers in the news through interactive graphics and animations. He has worked in Prague as the managing editor for the Prague Post, in London for the BBC, and in Washington, D.C. for Politico.

Martin Kaste ’91 is a correspondent on NPR’s National Desk, where he covers law enforcement, criminal justice, and privacy. In addition to spending five years as NPR’s reporter in South America, he has also contributed to NPR News coverage of major world events, including the 2010 earthquake in Haiti and the 2011 uprising in Libya.
