Please join Carleton alumi, parents, and current students, as well as many local Hudson Valley residents, for a pre-Sinterklaas parade open house at the home of Ed Bergstraesser '82. The Sinterklaas parade is a long-standing tradition involving floats and larger-than-life puppets, attracting more than 10,000 folks - adults and kids - to the Village of Rhinebeck. The parade begins at 6:00 p.m., and Ed will provide pre-parade warmth and cheer at his house, a mile down the road from the parade. Light refreshments will be provided. No need to bring anything, but feel free to bring a beverage to share if you are so moved.
Cost: Free
No registration needed. Please come if you can.
Directions and parking: Google Maps can be used for directions. Please park on the street. Ed's home is a mile west of downtown Rhinebeck on Rhinecliff Rd, at the intersection with River Rd.
