Serving as Carleton's chaplain since 1997, Carolyn Fure-Slocum '82 has been helping deepen the spiritual and ethical life of the campus for a quarter century. Join her for a discussion of the college's religious history and the roles of faith and practice at Carleton today.

About the speaker
Carolyn Fure-Slocum ’82 graduated from Carleton with a religion major and earned her M.Div. from the Pacific School of Religion in 1991. After serving as pastor for several institutions in Iowa, she returned to Carleton as chaplain in 1997, where she builds community by supporting the spiritual, religious, and ethical life of the college and its individual members. Fure-Slocum is ordained in the United Church of Christ.
