- Curious Objects: Learning with Objects from the Carleton Art Collection– Perlman Teaching Museum
- Prints by Minnesota-based indigenous artist Julie Buffalohead– Perlman Teaching Museum
- Carleton’s new Humanities and Arts Trailer (the CHAT) will be available during the Gathering for participants who would like to record their stories (think StoryCorps) or interview each other. The CHAT will be parked outside the Weitz Center for Creativity and open Friday from 3-5 p.m. and 8-10 p.m., Saturday 9:30-4:30 p.m. and Sunday 9-11 a.m. Come record your stories!

10:50 – 11:50 a.m. — Convocation with speaker Aimee Nezhukumatathil, an award-winning poet who teaches environmental literature and poetry writing in the MFA program at the University of Mississippi. In 2014 she became one of the country’s youngest poets to achieve the rank of full Professor of English. Skinner Memorial Chapel. This event will be live streamed.
12:00 – 1:00 p.m. — Welcome lunch, with remarks from President Alison Byerly, Severance Great Hall
1:15 – 2:00 p.m. — Update on plan for strengthening student residential communities (housing) and tour of the area impacted, Sevy Great Hall and walk to cultural houses
2:15 – 3:15 p.m. — Faculty panel on teaching for more equitable outcomes moderated by linguistics Professor Cherlon Ussery, Weitz Center for Creativity, Kracum Performance Hall. This event will be available live via Zoom.
3:30 – 5:00 p.m. — afternoon options:
- Campus tour led by current students, meet in front of Scoville Hall
- Oral history with Carleton archives, Weitz Center for Creativity, 131 CSA Presidents Meeting Space
- Healing circle facilitated by Brenda Burnside from Let’s Circle Up, LLC, Weitz Center for Creativity, 062 Green Room
- Tour renovated Scoville hall and hear from Admissions about diversity recruiting, Scoville Hall
- Voices After Carleton: Young Alumni Transitions intended for Juniors and Seniors – 4:00-5:00 p.m. – Hear from Carls of Color less than five years out from graduation about their experiences. Get tips on how you can be successful as a young professional of color after college, Alumni Guest House Meeting Room
5:15 – 6:15 p.m. — Social hour with President Byerly, Nutting House
6:30 – 8:00 p.m. — Celebration curry night dinner with faculty, students and staff (advance reservations requested), Weitz Center for Creativity Class of 1980 Commons

1:45 – 2:45 p.m. — Panel presentation on student life at Carleton, Weitz Center for Creativity, Kracum Performance Hall. This event will be available live via Zoom.
3:00 – 4:30 p.m. — Afternoon events:
