WEBSTER M. “WEB” CHRISTMAN, III, 71, of Berwyn PA, passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2013. Web was the husband of Barbara (nee Vipperman) Christman and son of the late Miriam (nee Klepper) Christman and the late Webster M. Christman Jr.
Web was an Economist and Vice President of Research & Development for Philadelphia Industrial Development Corporation, where he worked for nearly 25 years.
Web is survived by 3 children, Katherine (Dan Amsterdam) Christman, Sarah (Peter Hoffmann) Christman & Andrew (Agnieszka) Christman; 2 step-children: Merritt (John) Carew and Robert Williams; 4 grand-children, 3 step-grandchildren; stepmother, Bernice (nee Walker) Christman and former wife, Jolley (nee Bruce) Christman. Interment private by the request of the family. However, details for a Memorial Service will be announced in late Summer. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, 3916 Locust Walk, Philadelphia PA 19104. Please indicate that the donation is for the Pipe Organ Fund in memory of “Webster Christman”.
