Thomas Turner ’63

19 August 1992

Class: 1963

Major: Sociology

A remembrance by Hugh Cameron

Tom and I and Niles Doolittle shared a large second floor room as Stadium Huskies sophomore year. I remember walks up the hill with Tom, a cigarette in his teeth and clutching a full carton of Pall Malls, which made it a balancing feat to also lug books. Tom was highly social and well liked. He spent the majority of his time in the union, presumably with other socio majors. He had an easy facility speaking to ladies, which I never mastered, and I still marvel at Tom’s gift. He was an easygoing and interesting and good roommate. He left this world too soon and I miss him.
