Stephen Davidson ’65

Stephen Davidson was at Carleton as a freshman and sophomore, then transferred to Yale University where he was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to study in France.  He returned to Yale to earn his PhD and taught French for four years at the University of Minnesota.  He then moved to Italy to study Art Restoration.  When he returned to the US he spent the rest of his career serving the Friends Society both here and abroad.  He died November 15, 2003 and had memorial services in both Toulouse France and Carlisle PA.  Survivors include his wife and two daughters.
