Margaret (Peg) Louise Fisher Scott, class of 1948, passed away peacefully at the age of 99 on July 10, 2026 in Traverse City, MI.
She grew up in Washington, DC.
At Carleton she met her future husband, John Howard Scott, Class of 1944. They were married in 1948 and lived in Illinois after spending 2 years in Baltimore.
Peg moved to Traverse City, MI after John’s passing. She loved knitting, reading and enjoying wildlife. Her great-grandchildren were her greatest joy.
She is survived by her three children, Mike, Betsy Kimmel, Susan (David) Anderson, 4 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
