Kenneth was born January 14, 1954 in Waterbury, son of Dorothy (Miller) Moore and the late Frank S. Moore. He graduated from Carleton College in Northfield, MN with an undergraduate degree in English Literature and received a Master’s Degree in English Literature with honors from the University of Connecticut. He was employed by the State of Connecticut Department of Social Services as a Child Support Lead Investigator. He was relentless in the pursuit of justice and fair treatment for all people. He was an artist specializing in oil still lifes and figures. Kenneth was an avid reader and pursued his interest in vintage comic books. At one time he owned a comic book store in the Bristol area. Kenneth enjoyed conversation with family and friends, and enjoyed traveling abroad, especially his travels to France. He loved his family and was extremely generous, kind and forgiving. Having a good sense of humor, he was a gentle soul who led a calm, peaceful and happy life. Besides his beloved mother of Wolcott, he is survived by a brother, Shawn Moore of Washington, DC, his sisters, Sharon Moore and her husband, Robert Young of Wolcott, Krista Moore of Wolcott, his niece, Bianca Diaz of Waterbury, and many friends, colleagues and clients. He also leaves his pets, Queenie, Pearlie, Clyde, Hoover and Mulder, and a special pet named Rocket.
